The holiday season is a time for celebration and, for many people, it’s also a time to shine outside of the office. With so many festive occasions ahead, you’ll want to make sure you’re prepared with an outfit that will impress everyone you run into. And while shopping for your office holiday party might be easy enough, what should you wear to impress at all other parties?

The idea of dressing for the occasion is something we can all do a bit better on, even if we’re not keen on the whole idea of “holiday fashion”.Most people are familiar with this idea: they choose to wear certain clothes because they like them, and if they don’t like them, they can just throw them away and buy new ones.

Over the past few years, what has happened is that people have become much more comfortable with being business casual as opposed to formal dress codes. Today, casual clothing might seem much sleeker than formal attire — but it isn’t — because it leaves room for ideas of style that aren’t necessarily apparent informal dress codes.

We should certainly be making sure our clothes fit well enough that we are comfortable wearing them outside our office or house. But let’s not forget about important aspects of style: for example, tailoring things at home so that you can look nice when having dinner with your wife — which could go some way towards getting back into formal dressing codes!

There’s something for everyone when it comes to holiday fashion. It does not matter if you’re a man or woman.
